會讓我真的想花錢去買CD來聽的歌手很少, 不過Avril是其中之一. 原因很多, 她的歌曲裡總是帶有種年輕的叛逆, 但是音樂性又十足, 歌詞有味道 (偶爾還帶有勵志) 外, 編曲, 混音等都相當有水準. 聽過Avril的歌, 再回頭看看市場主流的芭樂歌, 充滿不真實的感情濫觴, 或是激動吶喊加上歌聲零分的自由曲風, 實在無法比較阿. 婚後的Avril從以前的隨興酷妹慢慢轉變成時尚成熟風, CD封面實在非常賞心悅目...

這首Keep Holding On是Avril為Eragon這部電影寫的歌, 大概是去年(2006)年底的事. 曲風其實跟以往Avril有點不一樣, 像在Under My Skin跟Let Go這兩個專輯裡, 是很典型的叛逆Avril, 而這首Keep Holding On風格較為偏溫和抒情, 比較不是典型的Avril, 不知道是不是跟她婚後心境上的轉變有關. 

除了這首歌外, Avril會在今年(2007)四月發行她的新專輯, "The Best Damn Thing", 其中有一首歌"Girlfriend"已經可以在網路上到處聽到了, 我有試聽一下. 覺得更不像以前Avril的風格了. 所以現在還在疑惑中, "The Best Damn Thing"到底會是什麼樣的專輯. 不過呢, 新專輯裡的鼓手非常有名, 是以前Blink 182的Travis Barker, 所以喜歡他與Avril的人一定得買來聽聽看的.
