Busy

最近的日子, 真的是忙亂的可以.

出國的事情告一個段落, VISA, 機票, 住宿都確定了, 雖然中間遇到很多問題, 不過也遇到許多人的幫助, 總之, 七月在美國的一個月, 應該是不會有太大的問題. 接下來只要行李打包, 然後帶著不知道有幾成把握的英文能力去到那邊就行了. 忙亂的事情很多, 還有公司的一些神秘不可說的計畫, 有時候覺得自己在寫計畫書或是報告就像是在說故事一樣, 要把事情說的煞有其事, 然後卻不能碰觸到核心的技術. 不錯的說書人可以把故事說的生動, 就如同最近我的工作一般.

UIUC Again

寫遊記的動力總是在出遊時最為高漲, 回家之後開始懶散. 就如同我一直很想將04年去UIUC的生活記事完整紀錄一樣, 一年多過去了, 還記得當時可怕的溫差, 好吃的意大利食物, 用功的學生, 美麗的校園, 還有打在我身上很痛的大雪. 記憶還很鮮明, 但遊記卻一直沒寫. 04年的遊記還沒完成, 06年的七月我卻又要去了, 相同的地點, 幾乎相同的時間, 這樣子我再寫04年的遊記還有意義嗎? 這一切的問題都是因為一個懶字, 真是糟糕的壞習慣.

和04年UIUC之行相同的還有, 各項讓我焦頭爛額的出國前準備事項. 機票, 住宿, 簽証, 沒一樣是沒意外發生的. 距離出國還有二十幾天, 機票卻還在候補中; 一個月的短期住宿, 本想找當地留學生的sublease, 不過總是不是太遠就是太貴; 簽証問題先是我忘了辦新護照, 後來卻是因為難得一見的美國國務院大當機, 所有簽証手續都delay了近十天. 仔細算了一下, 機票大概十天內會確定, 住宿跟UIUC那邊的助理聯絡上, 再一星期就會確定, 而簽証大概要等到近六月底才會確定. 一切都是這麼的趕, 但事實上其實我很早就開始準備, 這大概就是典型的計畫趕不上變化的例子.
